Lunging Training Aid

Dhs. 195.00

Modeled off the Pessoa training aid, this is a revolutionary lunging aid for horses that strengthens the back, stretches the top line and gentle encourages the horse to work correctly. The training aid should be used for frequent short sessions for best effect, and encourages the horse to work rather than using force.

An important difference between this training aid and other schooling aids is that it does not create a rigidly fixed contact between the horse's mouth and girth. Schooling aids that allow this to happen are notorious for creating an over bent outline with the horse working too much on its forehand and too little from behind. This aid works to free the back muscles so that the horse can use them for balance, impulsion and support for both himself and the rider's weight. This training tool employs a sympathetic system of ropes and pulleys which prevents rigidity and doesn't force collection.
Useful for fit horses to maintain their muscle tone, it also helps youngsters begin their work in the right shape.

PLEASE NOTE: this is the training aid only, does not include the girth roller or lunging girth which is sold seperately.

Nylon Lunging Girth

Really good surcingle! Nicely padded and seems like great quality! Great for long reining and for introducing young horses to having something run over their back. The side rings are a little bit small which makes it hard for the lunge line to run through, but there are other rings which can be used so this isn't massively problematic

Webbed Draw Reins (Black)

Dhs. 165.00

Training reins are easily attached to the girth, running through the bit rings to the rider¬s hands. These draw reins help with head carriage and rely on the rider's softness to work with balance and proper roundness.
